Meenakshi qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007 from H.N.B. Garwal University in India, before moving to the UK in 2009. She then worked in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery posts in the UK and gained experience in surgical dentistry. She obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012 after successful completion of her examination and then gained her full registration with the General Dental Council, UK after completing statutory examination in 2012. She then worked in general dental practice for a number of years and at the same time also completed a certificate course in Aesthetics and Restorative Dentistry from the Tipton academy, UK. She developed her interest in the field of orthodontics and started providing orthodontic treatment at the Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2019. She has been providing orthodontic treatment in the NHS primary care since 2021. At St. Edwards Street dental practice Meenakshi is providing cosmetic dental treatment and also orthodontic treatment to children and adults, with fixed orthodontic appliances and clear aligners, working closely with our Specialist Orthodontist, Mohit Mittal.
